What Is Ceramic Coating?
Ceramic coating is a liquid, professional-grade protectant that we apply by hand to your vehicle's paint. We use Nasiol , a nano-coating brand from an R&D company with nearly 20 years in the industry. Nasiol's coatings are made from nanoscale silicon dioxide (SiO2). As the coating cures, it forms a smooth, hard, glass-like layer on top of your clear coat.
Wax and sealants wear off in weeks or months. A professionally installed Nasiol coating protects for 3–5 years , depending on the coating you choose. Water and oil bead up and roll off, grime has a harder time sticking, and your paint keeps a deep, just-detailed shine.
Think of it as a tough, invisible layer between your paint and summer sun, dusty back roads, bugs, bird droppings, tree sap and winter road salt.

Straight Talk: What Ceramic Coating Won't Do
Honest expectations, so you know exactly what you're paying for.
- It's not scratch-proof or chip-proof. Even Nasiol says coatings aren't completely scratch- or damage-proof. It helps resist light marring, but not rock chips, key scratches or dings.
- It doesn't mean "never wash again." Your vehicle still gets dirty. It just cleans up much faster.
- It won't fix existing defects, which is why paint correction is included before every coating.
- It won't stop every water spot. Hard-water minerals can still spot if they dry in the sun.

First 48 hours
- First 24 hours: keep it dry and away from dirt and contamination

What coating do you use, and how long does it last?
We use professional-grade Nasiol nano-ceramic coatings. Nasiol ZR53 provides 3 years of protection, and Nasiol NL272, their premium coating, is rated for 5+ years. Care matters: Nasiol notes that proper hand washing and periodic maintenance help a coating reach, and even exceed, its rated life, while brush car washes and harsh chemicals shorten it.
Which Nasiol coating is right for me?
ZR53 is a great fit for most daily drivers and comes with a 3-year OG Pro Detail warranty. Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every coating is backed by the OG Pro Detail warranty: 3 years with Nasiol ZR53 or 5 years with Nasiol NL272. To keep it active, get a yearly maintenance check-up with us, wash only with pH-neutral shampoo (hand or brushless), don't wax or polish over the coating, and report any issue within 7 days of noticing it. Is ceramic coating worth it compared to waxing?
For most drivers, yes. Wax wears off in weeks, so you're reapplying it over and over. A Nasiol coating costs more up front but gives you 3–5 years of gloss, water beading and easier washing from one professional install, and you won't need to wax again.
Does ceramic coating make my car scratch-proof?
No, and be cautious of anyone who says it does. Nasiol rates its coatings at 10H pencil hardness, which helps resist light marring from washing. But even Nasiol says coatings aren't completely scratch-proof or damage-proof. It won't stop rock chips, key scratches or dings.
Do I need paint correction before coating?
It's already included. Every OG Pro ceramic package includes a clay bar, full decontamination and paint correction before the coating goes on. A coating can't remove existing scratches, so we correct first and then lock in the corrected finish.
Can you apply the coating at my house? What if it rains?
Yes. Our mobile units can install at your home or work in Walla Walla and surrounding areas. Nasiol coatings need mild, dry conditions (roughly 41–86°F, out of direct sun) and must stay dry for the first 24 hours. So mobile installs are weather permitting, and shop drop-off is always available.
When can I wash my vehicle, and how should I wash it?
Keep it dry for the first 24 hours and wait 48 hours before any soap wash. After that, wash every 1–2 weeks with a pH-neutral car shampoo, by hand or in a brushless wash, and dry right away with soft microfiber. Don't wax or polish over the coating. Or let the OG Maintenance Club handle it.
